LAKE WASHINGTON — Ending their 2022-2023 basketball season, the Grizzlies girls' basketball team saw a 24-point loss to the Bothell Cougars during Saturday night's game on Feb. 25. The Cougars gained an early advantage, and had a six point lead by the end of the first quarter. Bothell continued to grow their lead with them out scoring Sunnyside by three point during the second quarter. Sunnyside was behind nine points by the end of the first half. The Grizzlies were unable to catch a break with Othello continuing to grow their lead throughout the throughout the second half, they outscored Sunnyside by fifteen points during the second half of the game.
